minted : a giveaway
this is a sponsored post
Photo prints and personalised stationery - a few of my favourite things.
This year I've made an effort to imbue messages with a personal touch. The kids and I have been painting stars for Che's classmates and I've printed merry & bright cards for friends and family across the seas. In this age of jpegs and emails, a handwritten note (sealed and stamped) is a welcome gesture.
I've long admired Minted for their work with independent designers and their commitment to quality so when they approached me about a giveaway I was more than happy to oblige. Think of the company as a platform for indie designers the world over, a welcome step-up in the often overwhelming online world.
"Minted crowd-sources design and art from a global community of independent designers, then sell their best designs as fine products such as stationery, wall art and decor...every time a product is sold the artist receives a commission. "

The winner of this giveaway will receive a $200 voucher to Minted.
This giveaway is open to readers across the globe. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask them in the comments section - I'll answer there. The winner will be announced in this post on Wednesday 18th December at 5pm.
Best of luck!
Comments are now closed. The winner is #71 - Vanessa. Best of luck with your 2014 business ventures. Beautiful stationery is the perfect motivation!

I love personalized stationary because I feel like it adds a personal tough (obviously!) and it takes me back to my pen-pal days and actually spending afternoons in correspondence. I have looked at mint and never considered those lotus cards but now that I see yours I think they're gorgeous and something I would get!
ReplyDeletethe lotus cards are lovely...the background has a subtle tea-stained look about it x
ReplyDeleteI'd go completely nuts with that voucher! I'd make my way through the journals (can never have too many of those), then get cracking on the bunting and finish off with some pretty personalised stationery! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, there's just so much loveliness! Maybe a journal of Mason's first words and funny quotes? Or first birthday invitations? What a fun giveaway! Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I live across continents and we love to use letters to keep in touch. Ever since I was a young girl I've always loved writing on beautiful stationary and personalized stationary in particular is so beautiful and it feels like a precious moment - to be writing on something that is just yours. If I won this giveaway I would love to buy my sister those watercolor cards or some other stationary as a Christmas present!
ReplyDeleteBirth announcements! But some personalized stationary would be lovely for this avid pen pal.
ReplyDeleteI think a handwritten note is one of the most special things to give and to receive. Unfortunately, not too many people take the extra time these days. It's even more important, I think, to do it this time of year. I love the watercolor cards but the art prints are so dearly sweet...I would to have the Live Amongst The Trees print. I would love to walk past it everyday and read it to myself.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the introduction to this beautiful company.
Hope you and your family are having a lovely holiday so far. ♥
I love personalized stationary because I can customize pieces to fit my life and your family. I would use the $200 to buy pieces for my childrens rooms. I love the wall art that includes their birth weights and measurements. Art and keepsakes!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! :)
ReplyDeletePersonalised stationery really does add that special touch. I love the Botanicals personalised range, and the Faith's design Hello Love journals. How stunning! There's something very special and nostalgic about the feeling of pen to paper, and feathery paper under fingers.
I'd make calendars for my Mum and Nana of my children as they'd love those. Then I'd make cool cards for thank you notes. It is always nice to take a moment to really write to people.
ReplyDeleteCould really use that voucher for some great birth announcements! Our second daughter is due on January 18th. :)
ReplyDeleteI think the personalised lotus cards are stunning. I write letters to my great aunty who is 95 and lives in a nursing home in Sydney and i know how much it means to her to receive a handwritten note in the mail.
ReplyDeletePersonalised stationery makes everyone happy - the giver & the receiver. I would love some photo cards to send as thank yous to our family & friends overseas & to let them know our new address when we move to Canberra in January :)
ReplyDeletei've just been writing and sending out my christmas cards this week, but i sure would love if they were personalised! such a nice touch. i would choose the children's party invites, thinking ahead for clementine's first birthday party :)
ReplyDeleteWhat's not to love when it comes to personalised stationary...a thoughtfully personalised letter or card is a keeper, held on to as a keepsake. Hmmmm, it's hard to choose, but I think I'd go for photo cards (so lovely) or maybe a calendar...yes, certainly a calendar because then I could enjoy it all year long.
ReplyDeleteOoohhh would love!!! Am expecting baby #2, so would love to use for birth announcement / thank you cards!! Fingers crossed xxxx
ReplyDeleteI love that you can make something unique, definately the lotus cards and kids art journals - perfect gifts.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I had a conversation today about how as a young girl I would send thank you letters for the Christmas presents I received from family and friends and then I read this. Personalised stationery but it would be hard to choose!
ReplyDeletePersonalised Stationery. They would make an awesome surprise gift for my mum and sister
ReplyDeleteOh gorgeous! I would love some personalised stationery as I gave up Facebook a few months ago with the promise of connecting more personally with phone calls, visits and writing letters. So far my letter writing has yet to eventuate.... I'm sure that would change with such beautiful stationery :)
ReplyDeleteThankyou so much for introducing me to minted! I've been keeping personalised journals for all of my girls since i couldn't give up on their baby books where i was recording milestones etc. It's evolved and I now write about all our adventures, conversations and special family moments which no matter how much i think i'll remember it all, so much of it is lost unless recorded. I can't wait to give them their journals when they have babies of their own (assuming they do!). I particularly like the 'liberty cheri journals' :)
ReplyDeleteI adore stationary of any kind but personalised? yes please. With a 4 month old and the thank you's still not done (she IS my 3rd) I'm sure the voucher would be well used here!
ReplyDeleteI adore the art print "Go to it Laughing", it's so precious and the notebooks are so pretty, there are so many I'd choose... but I particularly love the "Golden Afternoon" one. The stationery and the thank you cards are really pretty too...
ReplyDeleteI have always lived near home, but in the last few years, my husband, boys and I have traveled far (and will continue to do so) in order for him to pursue his dream to become a professor. Personalized stationary feels a little bit like you're sending a little piece of yourself to family and friends far away. I would use this gift certificate to get personalized stationary for my husband, who has wanted a set for a long time, and with any leftover money, I would get a little for myself, too. Thanks for the opportunity to win! All the best, and Merry Christmas, Jodi.
ReplyDeleteThis company is lovely! I feel I'm part of the minority who still prefers mailing a note, rather than e-mail. To send our love in style, I would love some personalized stationery for myself and my little one. The "Little Alligator" and watercolor prints are my favorite. Thank you for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard of Minted before but could quite easily lose myself in their website for hours....thank you for introducing me to it.
ReplyDeleteAs for stationery, I have a thing about stationery....I am always buying cards and things to send to people. I love to receive mail in the post,it sure brightens a day, so therefore I also like to send it. Letter writing is definitely a dying past-time. I think personalised stationery is a beautiful gift to give and would love to have journals or little notecards to give to friends. I like the glitter and glitter bling mini cards or perhaps some decor for a party - I love the fall foliage collection.
I love Minted! We are expecting a child and would use the giveaway for birth announcements!
ReplyDeleteI love custom cards because they feel special. I'm loving this art print from Minted: http://www.minted.com/product/custom-art-prints/MIN-0DS-NCA/greatest-adventure?ccId=68232&org=photo
ReplyDeleteCustom and handwritten feel so much more personal in a digital world!! I'd get the "quickly penned" thank yous to use after our wedding!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'd have to think long and hard about what exactly to get. So much loveliness there. But I think I'm kind of leaning towards birth announcements, for when the babe comes? Maybe?
ReplyDeleteI love to write letters, by hand, and I think having lovely stationery just adds a beautiful touch. It makes me feel like I am sending something a little more special. I love the blooming blossoms personalized stationery, and would love to get some for myself, and also some for my mom.

ReplyDeleteHow odd?!!! I've just left a comment asking them to remove it. Thanks so much for letting me know x
Deletei'd like some art for wee baby j's room and perhaps some photo cards for all those thank yous! x
ReplyDeleteHi Jodi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity. We are a family of 5 and have hardly any family shots. We were recently sent the best family picture from a wedding we went to, (all dressed up and using silly props) so I would get some cards printed to send to family and friends and a print made. Have a merry and joyful Christmas. x
I love their personalized wrapping paper!
ReplyDeleteWould be hard to choose, maybe a couple of special gifts and something for me....some lovely art prints
ReplyDeletepersonalised stationery just feels so special, it brightens up the everyday list making and note taking! I love so many of the minted dsigns, particularly the pretty poppies and posey bush.
ReplyDeleteI would love to create a sort of change of address card - we are shortly moving our family from Cairns to beautiful Tasmania. I think we could make something really fun with pictures of our children in beanies and coats - something completely different for us!
ReplyDeleteJust adore personalised stationary! It's a little bit extra special and well personal in a world of electronic 'thank yous' what an awesome thing this could be to win! I could get some thank you cards of notes or something for thanking everyone and announcing the arrival of our second child in Feb 2014!
ReplyDeleteI think I would use it for a Christmas set this year. I send love letters to friends pretty regularly but can never quite afford the expense of having photo cards printed for te season.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved Minted's aesthetic.
There is nothing better than a letter or card in the mail. I'll be sending it out till I can't write anymore!
I love personalized stationary. I love it because you can customize something to really represent you. Plus Minted has the cutest selection!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh how I'd love to win. I put off buying personalized stationary because I can't decide which to choose. Maybe this would put the pressure on to make a decision. I LOVE the one of Che and Poet above!!!
ReplyDeletePersonalized stationary inspires me to send notes to those I love... which as you mentioned feels like an especially nice gesture in our world of emails these days. In fact, your personalized lotus cards would suit me well as we share the same name! (and spelling!)
ReplyDeleteso rare to find another Jodi with the same spelling! x
Deletei know! you are perhaps the 5th i've encountered!
DeletePersonalized stationary is such a beautiful way to put a finishing touch on a letter. I would definitely buy some journals for school and some washi tape because one can never have too much tape!
ReplyDeletei love the extra motivation that personalised stationary gives and love the extra dose of love it gives to the reciever too, getting that something a bit extra special. so much prettiness to choose from, but i think I would get personalised stationary for myself and some for my 5yr old daughter who loves writing to people - she would be so thrilled with some special paper of her own!
ReplyDeleteOh gorgeous! I love the lotus print - think my voucher would be going towards that if I was lucky enough to win. I love personalised stationary as it's as unique as the individual using it! Thanks for the great giveaway! x
ReplyDeleteI've been making my own stationary for many years, but, WOW, it would be wonderful to have a few little "thank you" and "With love" cards, the lotus print is gorgeous! What an awesome giveaway, Jodi!
ReplyDeletePersonalized cards are the most beautiful way to share special moments/memories with loved ones. We have our first baby due in May and I would use them to create birth announcements. Thank you for this giveaway! xo
ReplyDeletePersonalized stationery means that someone has taken the time out of their busy day, to sit down and and pen a few lines. In this digital age, snail mail is so rare and therefore things like pretty notecards and envelopes covered in postage stamps seem that little bit more special. So much loveliness at Minted (thank you for introducing me to them!!)... I love the simplicity of the Banner and Branch personalized stationery or the Audrey notecards but I am also loving the Je'Taime Bebe Journal which might be a nice keepsake for each of my girls... a place to record their funny phrases and my thoughts on being their mama xx
ReplyDeleteI would sit there 'umming' and 'ahhhing' for hours.
ReplyDeleteToo many beautiful choices!
I couldn't go past a personalised calendar ... combining beautiful stationary and photography .... continues to give throughout the year.
What a lovely giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI have been making more of an effort to write snail mail to people this year. So that is what I would primarily use it for. I even joined a snail mail swap. It's so lovely to receive mail!
What a lovely site, so glad to have found it though you! I am eyeing off so many of the beautiful prints!
ReplyDeleteIve always wanted my own personalised stationary, I think it would give me a much needed incentive to write "proper" letters! So much to chose from! I would choose some personalised stationary, a journal or two, an art journal for my son, the list goes on!
ReplyDeleteIt's really important to me to send handwritten notes whenever possible, especially to thank someone for a gift or kind gesture. I would enjoy having some of this beautiful stationery. Thank you for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful giveaway. I would love to have some personalised stationary made. We are trying to teach our children the joy of sending and receiving mail (the old fashioned way) not electronic. Some beautiful stationary would make that all the more special.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this so I can create personalised stationary when my bubba is born in March. I'm a graphic designer, but with renovating and a little bubba... I wont have any time to fuss over my design. Their stunning designs will make my life a lot easier :) They have such beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteI would have to seriously think about what to use my winnings for, as so many things are so incredibly gorgeous...
ReplyDeleteOh, this is such a great giveaway! Pretty stationary is a weakness of mine. I'm creative, so I love to send out cards that really capture the essence of our family/myself. Minted is such a great resource for that and $200, wow! I wouldn't even know where to start.
ReplyDeleteI love Minted!!! I would probably make some photo cards and send a little message out to our loved ones.
ReplyDeleteI would love a new stack of personalized stationary. That would be lovely indeed. What a beautiful selection they have!
ReplyDeleteI love Minted! Personalised stationery is wonderful for both sender and receiver. It makes it intimate and I think that's important. In 2013, I used Minted for all my nieces and nephew's birthday presents (who live in Ireland) to give them personalised stationery in an effort to kick start some letter writing with my kids (who live in Australia). I would definitely be buying a family tree print - I've been eyeing them off for a while.
ReplyDeleteThis is our third christmas away from home and family... though in the meantime we have begun a little one of our own. I would make new year cards - to start the year connecting with those folks far away (back in warm wonderful Oz). I find holiday cards for Christmas too overwheming in the craziness of december - bit I love writing to wish my favourites all well in the newness of a year. Some beautiful posts lately Jodi - good reminders.. thank you.
ReplyDeleteI think personalized cards for the holidays are a lovely way to show off your family and your style. If I won, I'd certainly put the prize towards my personalized save the date cards (with a great photograph of my fiance and I) - still not sure which of the great options I like best from Minted.
ReplyDeleteI love Minted! Being a military wife and moving around a lot, I'd love to send out some photo cards with our new address or send a note on some personalized stationary to family back home! Pretty please let it be me!
ReplyDeleteI'm such a stationery nerd I could just sit and ruffle through your lotus cards sighing contentedly.
ReplyDeleteI would buy the personalised notebook. You know you've made it when you have personalised stationery! ;-)
I love that idea of personalised stationary but I don't think I would ever have the courage to use it. I don't think my handwritting would be able to match it's beauty. I think if I was to win I would get some beautiful buisness cards printed for my little venture I'm starting next year.
ReplyDeleteKatex
I have a box of cards and stationery in my linen cupboard (of all places!)... any excuse to get it out and write a note to someone – it isn't often that we get to see our handwriting nowadays. But I'm quite fond of my handwriting and I love expressing myself creatively, so personalised stationery feels good in my hands! With my homeschooling journey starting next year, I'd pick a couple of journals for Luca (I See the Moon and The Great Big Sea), and some beautiful business stationery for me - next year is my year! x
ReplyDeleteIt seems like nothing is very personal anymore with email and facebook... I love the personalized journals, I had one growing up and would love my daughter to start writing. Thank you for the chance
ReplyDeleteI'd get baby announcements cards. I love how gorgeous Minted's cards are.
ReplyDeleteI love personalized stationery because I love sending handwritten letters. I would love to get the handpainted botanicals personalized cards!
ReplyDeleteI love the lotus cards and the journals. I think that the cards especially would be a good incentive to write more letters to friends in different cities - we do try but busy lives often take over. It is nice to send, and receive letters!
ReplyDeleteWe are planning a destination wedding, and I would love to leave a personal thank you note in each guests welcome bag. The personalized stationary from minted would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteO Minted you are so lovely! If I were to be so lucky, I would use it for sweet, loving words to my 62 year old aunt who I write (snail mail!) to every week. Tho my aunt by blood, she really was my mum-raising me in a beautiful, gentle way. She is very sick now and on the other side of Oz, so handwritten notes are our thing. I would feel blessed to put pen to paper on gorgeous minted designs.
ReplyDeleteOh aren't the personalised cards lovely! I have been learning a new skill this year (modern calligraphy) and think I'd choose some "A note from" cards and then use my hand lettering to write some lovely notes, thank yous, etc.
ReplyDeleteI am old school when it comes to things like thank you notes, Christmas cards, and even letters. I love stationary and I love stamps...and I love thinking about my words travelling over the seas to friends and family.
ReplyDeleteMy 90 year old grandmother and I write to each other so I think I would buy some new note cards so my letters to her would be pretty and fresh.
And I would also buy a notebook for me. I debated about buying a bigger diary for 2014 but decided against it...I already regret this decision and a notebook would be wonderful to have as an adjunct diary!
I love writing, so much of our lives now are all typed and digital, but I still prefer to write a note. The girls just turned one, and I would like to send thank you notes for all the beautiful gifts they received. So any of the thank you cards would be welcomed. I am very interested in their Christmas cards with pre-addressed envelopes for next year- I sent out over 100 cards this year!!!
ReplyDeleteOoo, the room decor signs for kids are awesome! And the animals alphabet poster. There are many many beautiful things. i am giving this link to my son's grandparents for future presents. Meanwhile, i'd LOVE to win a 200$ voucher, wao!
ReplyDeletePersonalized stationery makes a handwritten note that much more special. I hope to send more cards in the new year and some personalized ones would be lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love writting I love. I love the lotus cards and the journals. I love the handpainted botanicals personalized cards.
ReplyDeleteI love personal stationery because I love putting ink to paper. I love handwritten notes... This site is dangerous! I love the posey blush stationery, the personalized journals and the kids art journals. I can see getting one for my daughter with grid paper so that she can doodle to her heart's content in something fancy just for her.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many wonderful people in my life that I could send a little love. When you add personalization to something it makes it more special. It makes what you send into a small treasure. My grandmother has the most beautiful letters that she has kept over the years. I would love to become part of the collection.
ReplyDeleteI also love the family tree rings!
Because it feels super special to have something exactly right, just for you. I think I'd get some stationery for myself, although looking at the site I'd need at least several days to decide exactly what to get... (soft watercolour, wildflowers, audrina - all so good!) And perhaps some art for the kids - I see the moon, circus pony, cycling sausage(!), little painted elephant, star gazers....
ReplyDeleteoh blissfilled stationary where upon I could write love notes to my beloved... perhaps even some elfin notes to be left under the pillows of my sweet boys as well.
ReplyDeleteand then it would be on to order photos to hang on the wall. xo
I've used Minted in the past and it was by far my favorite family photo card to date. I would love one featuring us with the newest addition to our family to send to our loved ones!

As a same-sex couple, it's hard to find wedding stationary that suits us. We would use the voucher to buy some personalised wedding invitations for our rainbow wedding next year!
